I am going to start posting my job description here as it changes. Currently, its been changing about every 4 weeks. Obviously this is not my first job description at Mountaintop… it’s about my 15th. But I will start numbering from “one”, for the sake of both reason and sanity.

Job Title: GenX Minister and Assistant to the Pastor
Functions:
1. [ 25% | 10 hrs ] Lead, develop, and grow the following age/situational communities: college, young singles (post-college age), and young couples (post-college to 30).
2. [ 25% | 10 hrs ] Facilitate Compassion Ministry promotion and mobilization (develop F1(Fellowship One) as interactive vehicle for developing Compassion).
3. [ 10% | 4 hrs ] Webmaster – ensuring the homepage is kept current, appealing, and easy to navigate according to the following priorities: Community (unchurched inquirers and occasional attenders), Crowd (regular attenders who watch and are not yet assimilated), Core (members).
4. [ 5% | 2 hrs ] Programming.
5. [ 5% | 2 hrs ] Graphic Design / Communications.
6. [ 10% | 4 hrs ] Pastoral Care – Manage pastoral care needs of Mountaintop members by personal visitation, leading and administering the chaplains, Stephen Ministry, Heartbeat, Cherish, prayer chain adminstration, card writing, etc.
7. [ 15% | 6 hrs ] Assist the senior pastor in carrying out ministerial duties (weddings, funerals, teaching, etc.)
8. [ 5% | 2 hrs ] Benevolence Ministry – liason with benevolence team, researching and developing information to assist people in finding help when Mountaintop cannot directly help.
