I am cleaning out my office and emptying some boxes of papers. One of these boxes apparently once lived a double life as an ‘exit box’ from Prestonwood.
Here were some quotes I found scribled on papers in the box:
“The desk is so big it has its own gravitational pull.” – David Franks. August 22, 2002. Said about my 3-piece executive-sized wrap-around desk, located in the center of a room containing the (much smaller) desks of 7 other staff members, relocated after a sprinkler-system mishap in the tech area.
“You can’t swing a dead cat around here without hitting a Service.” – David Franks. September 4, 2002. Did I mention that David was once the voice of Barney on tour.
“My stomach runs my life.” – Micah Whitehead. August 22, 2002. Anyone that knows Micah knows it’s true… and who can blame him!
So true about Micah. I laughed when I read it.
A lot of water under the bridge since Prestonwood, I guess you heard about the 2nd campus project they will be developing in Frisco.
