Hometown: Connersville

Before You LeapI’m currently reading a very enjoyable book by one of my favorite people (er, frogs) ever. Before You Leap is a frog’s-eye view of life’s greatest lessons… and it’s opening paragraph has me thinking about home:

“The swamp will always be a part of me–and not just because I never quite get that wet, sticky smell out once it soaks in. (Believe me, I’ve tried.) The swamp is who I am and where I come from; it’s my birthplace and my hometown, my refuge and my strength, my past and my future… For me the swamp is where it all started.”
