From the Station Manager – #7

From the Station ManagerWhen you leave Cedarville, you’ll take many things with you… your diploma, your memories, your debt, and your friends.  One of God’s greatest gifts to graduates  are those people He placed in your life along the road.  Your friends.  But at a place like Cedarville it might be difficult to figure out who your real friends are.

Proverbs 17:17 shows us the true test of friendship when it says that, “A friend loves at all times.”  Solomon is reminding you that a true friend is a constant (and consistent) source of love.  True friendship is not just for the easy times; true friends are also there in the really tough times.  My Dad put it best when he said that a friend is someone who walks in when the whole world has walked away.  Friends are a blessing direct from God.  Rely on them and allow them to minister to you.  They are sacred gifts from a loving God.
