From the Station Manager – #10

Sin.  What an aweful word.  Sin.  What a huge problem for all of us.  We’ve all had Christian Life [class] and we know more about sin than many people will ever know.  And yet we still deal with it.  Daily.  There are many of us who even struggle with victory over the same sin.  What’s yours? …and have you given up on God healing you of it??

Proverbs 28:13 says, “He who covers his sin will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”  When we can’t get victory over a sin it is human nature to cover it up and hope that no one will find out.  The Bible says the opposite: uncover it, confess it, and forsake it.  If you don’t already have one, find an accountability partner… someone you can trust.  Let them help you keep your sin uncovered.  Only then will you truly have a prosperous life.
