What is wisdom?  Solomon had it… but do you?

To be wise doesn’t mean having high grades or a complete set of “4.0 Mugs.”  To be wise is to make right choices at the right time.  So how do we obtain this godly wisdom that will help us make the right choices in life? 

Proverbs 9:10 answers by saying that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”  Or, to become wise, you must grow in the fear and knowledge of the Lord.  What is the ‘fear and knowledge of the Lord’?  Simply put, the fear of the Lord is a state of mind.  It happens when you exchange your attitudes, will, feelings, and goals for God’s.  When you daily live your life with the goal of living it God’s way you will automatically ‘fear the Lord’ and make wise decisions in all that you do.  THAT is true wisdom.
