Have you ever been in a situation that, apart from a miracle of God, seemed hopeless? The disciples experienced just such a sitation on the banks of the sea of Galilee when over 5,000 people gathered to hear Jesus preach. Since it would have taken nearly a year’s worth of wages to feed the enormous crowd, the disciples had no idea what to do. The situation, humanly, was hopeless. Yet Christ used a little boy and his lunch to show the multitudes that, with God, all things are possible…
So what are these hopeless situations in your life? A relationship that just isn’t going like you had expected, or is it a family situation that seems beyond hope? Maybe it’s as simple as a habit that you simply can’t kick no matter how hard you try. Is there reason for hope in these seemingly hope-less situations? Of course. And it comes with a correct understanding ofthe problem. Christ says, “all you who are are burdened, come to Me, and I will give you rest” [Mt 11:28]. For those who are in Christ, there is no need for worry. Turn your problems over to Christ and let Him take care of the details. There are no hopeless situations, only people who think hopelessly.
A new design and you are back in the writing mode.
