From the Station Manager – #13

When you look around Cedarville you can’t help but notice the blessing of God.  We as students have the opportunity to attend a top-notch school.  We have nice clothes, expensive cars, money in our wallet, and a great future ahead.  Compared to many people we are very rich… and it does feel good to be able to buy what we want.  But who gets the credit?

Proverbs 3:9-10 says to “Honor the Lord with your wealth, then your barns will be filled to overflowing.”  All wealth is God’s wealth.  Are you using the possessions that He’s given to honor Him? … or yourself??  Are you using your ‘stuff’ in ways that please God or disappoint Him? 

Here’s an idea: Spend some of your resources to further the ministry.  Make sure that you aren’t spending your money on movies or music that don’t glorify God.  And PLEASE, be more careful with your debit card!
