From the Station Manager – #9

Ten years ago today [April 3, 1990], Student Radio began at Cedarville.  First, as AM530 WSRN and then on the FM dial as U99.5.  While there have been many high points, and a few low ones, it continues to be our privilege to serve you every day through original programming.  Programming that we hope ministers to you.  We call ourselves “Radio for U” because it is our mission to be your radio station… your best source for contemporary and classic Christian music.  We buy the CD’s so you don’t have to.

There is a saying in Christian music radio that says ‘the message is in the music.’  When you listen to U99.5, let our music truly minister to you.  Listen to the words and apply them.  Thanks to the hard work of our staff, our sponsors, our Advisor, and the support of our listeners U99.5 is where it is today.  Proverbs 10:22 says that “the blessing of the Lord makes one rich.”  We have truly been blessed by the Lord for over a decade now…
